Product Description

Black Dahlia, half of our Signature Collection, is a deep, black crelly accented with red holo micro glitter. See the separate listing for Red Dahlia, the other half of this duo.

Black Dahlia Lacquer’s polishes are hand mixed in small batches so slight variations are possible, but we do our best to ensure consistency. We use only vegan, cruelty-free products. Our polish is also 5-free, which means it does not contain DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin or Camphor. Both our full-size 14 ml and petite 8 ml polishes include flat brushes and one large stainless steel mixing ball. We recommend a gentle roll before use to redistribute the polish.

Black Dahlia Lacquer ships within three business days, and often much sooner. During new product launches or big sales our processing time may take up to five business days. We are based in the US but ship worldwide.

  1. Unmanageable, thick formula

Posted by DebH on 8th Oct 2017

The polish looks pretty, but the formula was so thick that it was very difficult to get a thin coat on, and impossible to not flood the nail bed and slop over onto my finger. Then, when I tried to clean the spilled polish up when it was still wet, it grabbed part of the polish that was on the nail.

I think this would be ok if you have long nails, but if you've got stubs you're trying to protect with polish, I'm not so sure. You either get a thin coat that gives off a pattern like dry brushing or have to apply a thick, bubbling, messy coat. I'm disappointed.
